Ward Coucke (born October 8, 1981 in Waregem ) is a Belgian beach volleyball player .
Career
Coucke played his first open tournaments in 1999 and 2001 in Ostend with Dirk de Boiserie . In 2001 he finished fifth with David Termote at the Junior World Championships in Le Lavandou . From 2002 to 2004 he formed a duo with Ron Andelhof and played various other open tournaments and a Grand Slam in Berlin . In 2007 he took part in a Challenger tournament in Brno with Audry Frankart , who was his partner again in 2010. At the European Championships in Berlin, the two Belgians were eliminated without a win after the preliminary round. From 2011 to 2013 Coucke played with Tom van Walle . The European Championship in Kristiansand was over for Coucke / van Walle after the preliminary round after they had lost the last group game against the Dutch Brouwer / Meeuwsen after more than an hour with 23:25 in the tie-break. Also in 2012 at the EM in The Hague came after the preliminary round. In 2013, the Belgians only competed in national tournaments.
