Warfect is a Swedish thrash metal band from Uddevalla , which was founded in 2003 under the name Incoma .
history
The band was formed in 2003 under the name Incoma, before changing its name to Warfect in 2008 after releasing two demos. In November 2009, My Kingdom Music released the debut album Depicting the Macabre , which was followed by the second album Exoneration Denied on Cyclone Empire in June 2013 . A music video for the song Drone Wars was released in August, followed by a second for Inflammatory in July 2014 . In the same month, the band also went on a European tour that included 17 appearances, together with NunSlaughter and Demonical .
style
According to Neil Arnold from metalforcesmagazine.com , the band on Exoneration Denied plays modern and technically demanding Thrash Metal, comparable to the music of Sadus and Vektor . The electric guitars are unpredictable and the vocals are malicious. The style is based on the Thrash Metal of the late 1980s. The band doesn't sound Swedish, but rather comes close to bands like Anacrusis , Kreator and Slayer . Especially in the song Drone Wars the band sounds a lot like Slayer, while the song Inflammatory sounds like a mixture of Slayer and Voivod .
