The Warnscale Beck is a river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The Warnscale Beck arises on the northwest flank of the Gray Knott and flows in a northwest direction to its confluence with the Buttermere Lake .
The Warnscale Beck has several small tributaries including the Black Beck, which rises in the Blackbeck Tarn .
By connecting the Buttermere Lake with the Crummock Water , from which the River Cocker arises, the Warnscale Beck can be counted among the source rivers of the River Cocker.
