The Warsaw Unit (formerly: Spinnaker ) is a high-rise office building in Warsaw under construction. It is located at the Rondo Daszyńskiego roundabout in the Wola city district . According to the client, the name of the building refers to the architectural style of the Unité d'Habitation by Le Corbusier . The project was originally called Spinnaker , which was changed in November 2018. The construction site is currently one of the largest in Poland. The developer of the project is the Polish branch of the Belgian company Ghelamco . The completion of the construction work is planned for the beginning of 2021.

The skyscraper will have a roof height of 180 meters. With the technical equipment on the roof, the total height will be 202 meters. 57,000 m² of office space will be created on 45 floors. The planned construction costs are around 200 million euros. The architectural office responsible is Projekt Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury .

One element of the facade at ul. Prosta will be the installation of a so-called “Dragon Skin”. This part of the facade will consist of several thousand movable tiles and will therefore be constantly reshaped by the wind.

Further high-rise office buildings are also currently being built on Rondo Daszyńskiego : The Warsaw Hub , Skyliner and Generation Park . The Warsaw Spire is 150 meters away (at Towarowa Street ) .
