Kim Braun (born February 6, 1997 in Eupen , Belgium ) is a German handball player of Belgian origin.

Career

Kim Braun started playing handball in her hometown in 2003 at KTSV Eupen. Here she had to play in youth teams in boys' teams. In the 2011/12 season, the outside player ran for the Eupen women's team in the 2nd division. In 2012, Braun moved to HC Eynatten , for whom she was hunting goals in the 1st division.

Braun moved to the German club Bayer Leverkusen in 2013 . With the Leverkusen A-youth she won the German A-youth championship in 2014 and 2015. In the 2015/16 season, Braun was part of the extended squad of the Leverkusen women's team, for which she was used in the Bundesliga . In 2018 she moved to league competitor SG BBM Bietigheim . With Bietigheim she won the German championship in 2019.

Kim Braun took part in a training course for the German women's national team in March 2019 . On March 22, 2019, she made her debut for the German national team .
