Anna Loerper (born November 18, 1984 in Kempen ) is a German handball player .

Anna Loerper joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2003 from VT Kempen . With Bayer Leverkusen, the all-round player, who can play in the playmaker and left wing position , won the EHF Challenge Cup in 2005 and made it to the DHB Cup final . A year later she became German runner-up with Bayer Leverkusen and won the DHB Cup in 2010. In 2011 Lumpi switched to the Danish club Team Tvis Holstebro with whom she won the EHF Cup in 2013. For the 2013/14 season she returned to the handball Bundesliga for VfL Oldenburg . From the summer of 2014 she ran for TuS Metzingen . During her time there, she was voted handball woman of the year in 2015 and 2016 . With runner-up and reaching the EHF Cup final, in which Loerper was injured after 45 minutes, the team was also successful in the 2015/16 season, at the end of which Loerper was named Player of the Season. At the end of May 2017, Metzingen reached the final of the DHB Cup Final Four. Loerper surprisingly switched to SG BBM Bietigheim on January 30, 2018, with immediate effect after the manager of the TuS Metzingen, Ferenc Rott, had informed her a week earlier that the originally agreed term of her contract until 2019 was due to a corresponding option on June 30 2018 will be shortened. "We are convinced that it has passed its zenith," said the managing director of the Metzingen handball players openly and directly. The 33-year-old playmaker received a contract with the German Champion of the Year 2017 until June 30, 2019. In February 2019, the contract was extended to summer 2020.

In 2005 Anna Loerper made her debut in the national handball team , in the next 13 years she played 246 international matches , in which she scored 428 goals, the greatest success being 3rd place at the 2007 World Cup .
