Julia Maidhof (born March 13, 1998 ) is a German handball player who is under contract with the Bundesliga club SG BBM Bietigheim .

Career

Julia Maidhof played for TV Glattbach until 2014. Then she moved to HSG Bensheim / Auerbach . For Bensheim / Auerbach, she initially played in the A-Juniors Bundesliga and took 3rd place in the 2015/16 season. In 2015 she played her first games for the second division team of HSG Bensheim / Auerbach. Maidhof rose to the Bundesliga in 2017 with Bensheim. In the 2017/18 season, the left-hander had a second game right for the second division club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . She has been under contract with SG BBM Bietigheim since the 2020/21 season .

Maidhof took part with the German youth and junior national team at the U-18 World Cup 2016 in Slovakia , the U-19 European Championship 2017 in Slovenia and the U-20 World Cup 2018 in Hungary . Maidhof made her debut for the German national team on June 2, 2019 .
