Nele Reimer (born September 9, 1996 in Rostock ) is a German handball player who is under contract with the Bundesliga club SG BBM Bietigheim .
Career
Nele Reimer started playing handball at SV Warnemünde . After the right-hander then ran for SV Eintracht Rostock, she joined the Rostock HC in 2011 . Here the backcourt player played, among other things, for the women's team playing in the 3rd division , for which she scored 119 goals in 21 games. In summer 2013 she moved to HC Leipzig . Here Reimer initially played for the 2nd team in the 3rd division and later moved up to the squad of the 1st women's team, where she is used on the left wing in the Bundesliga . In the 2015/16 season she received a second game right for the second division club HC Rödertal . With the HCL, she won the DHB Cup in 2016 . From the 2017/18 season she was under contract with the Neckarsulmer Sport-Union . In the 2018/19 season, Reimer took 3rd place in the Bundesliga scorers list with 160 goals. In the summer of 2020, Reimer joined SG BBM Bietigheim .
Reimer played a total of 45 times for the German youth and junior national team. In 2014 she won the silver medal at the U-18 women's handball world championship . She made her debut for the German national team on March 23, 2019 .
Reimer took part in the 2017 European Beach Handball Championship.
