Antje Lauenroth (born October 3, 1988 in Haldensleben ) is a German handball player . Since the 2015/16 season she has been playing in the handball Bundesliga at SG BBM Bietigheim . Your playing position is center circle .

Lauenroth played in her childhood for her home club MTV Weferlingen. In 2001 she signed the HSC 2000 Magdeburg for the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2006 she switched to HSG Bensheim / Auerbach , also playing in the 2nd division . She remained loyal to the club for almost ten years and only switched to first division club SG BBM Bietigheim in 2015 , with whom she won the German championship in 2017 and 2019 .

In 2008 Antje Lauenroth won the world title with the U20 national team in Macedonia . The detective commissioner won her first German championship in 2013. She won the German police championship in women's handball with the Hessen team. In 2016 she won second place with the team from Baden-Württemberg.

In 2015 Lauenroth joined the extended team of the women's national team and in 2016 the new national coach Michael Biegler invited her to a course. On June 8, 2017, she made her debut in the women's national team in Aarhus .

Private

Lauenroth's friend Jan Döll also plays handball at SV Salamander Kornwestheim.
