Wasser, Wald, Eisenhämmer is a cycle route in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate . As a circular route with numerous cross connections, it leads over 1,200 km through the Bergisches Land , the Ebbegebirge , the Sauerland , the Siegerland and the Cologne Bay . The bike path also leads along river valleys, but also with steep inclines through the low mountain range. It partly runs on cycle paths, farm and forest paths, but also on country roads without a separate cycle path.

The cycle path is integrated into the NRW cycle traffic network, there is also a signet, but the signage has not yet been made for cost reasons.

There are connections to the Rhine cycle path , the Siegtal cycle path , the Lenneroute and the regional cycle routes R 8, R23, R31 and R27.
