The Wasser Berlin International is a trade fair in Berlin , on the products and services offered on the subject of water and wastewater are presented.
concept
The focus of the exhibition includes water extraction , water and wastewater treatment and distribution , wastewater, sewer and pipeline construction , fittings , pumps and measurement, control and analysis technology. A specialist congress will take place alongside the trade fair . The fair is only available to trade visitors and takes place every two years in the exhibition halls under the radio tower . In 2009 it had around 35,000 visitors. 704 exhibitors from 28 countries (179 of them from abroad) use an exhibition area of 49,000 m². The ideal sponsors of the fair are theGerman Association for Gas and Water V. (DVGW) , the Federal Association of Companies in the Gas and Water Sector e. V. ( figawa ) and the International Water Association (IWA).
Realignment in 2011
In 2011 the fair will only be held in four instead of five days. At the same time, the frequency of events was shortened from three to two years. The organizer hopes that this will increase the topicality and information density. The International NO DIG 2011 and the audience show WASsERLEBEN for schoolchildren and teachers will take place at the same time .
