The Schuttern moated castle , also known as Schuttern Castle , is an abandoned moated castle near the Schuttern Monastery in Schuttern , a current part of the municipality of Friesenheim in the Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle was built in the 14th century (before 1327) for the Lords of Geroldseck and was first mentioned in 1433. The castle, last mentioned in 1648, was demolished after 1648. Nothing has been preserved from the castle complex, which can no longer be located.
