The house at Wassertorstraße 21 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building is located on the south side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district . It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building, which is also listed, adjoins Wassertorstraße 20 to the east .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1709. The threshold of the half-timbered facade is decorated with pyramid beam heads and stylized ship throats . At the back of the house there is a sloping garden that slopes down to the Mühlgraben further south .
