The house at Wassertorstraße 26 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

The building is located on the south side of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district . It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The property is located south and well below the actual Wassertorstraße on a small alley belonging to Wassertorstraße, which leads from the street to Unter dem Birnbaum. The building, which is also listed, adjoins Wassertorstrasse 27 to the south .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house dates from the 18th century and shapes the appearance of the street when looking from the south-running Mühlgraben to the Schloßberg. The facade facing the street was plastered later.
