Water tower (Deisenhofen)
The Deisenhofen water tower is a water tower in Deisenhofen , a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Oberhaching in the district of Munich . The building is registered as a monument in the Bavarian List of Monuments .
description
The water tower is located on Gartenstraße about 150 meters north of the train station and the post office . It was built in 1898.
The tower is a round tower with a base diameter of about 5 meters. The exterior is colored. The ground floor, which is closed off with a cornice , has a ribbon rustication and is painted red. The upper floors have a smooth facade and are painted green. The red pulpit on the tower has a conical roof with a lantern .
