The Deisenhofen Station is a separation station in the district Deisenhofen the Bavarian municipality of Oberhaching south of Munich . The station is served by the S3 line of the Munich S-Bahn , which runs between Mammendorf and Holzkirchen , as well as by the Meridian trains of the Bavarian Oberlandbahn . The station building is registered as a monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
history
Deisenhofen station was opened in 1862 on the Munich – Holzkirchen section of the Bavarian Maximiliansbahn . Firewood and timber were also transported to Munich on the route. Since October 10, 1898, there has also been a connection to Munich's Ostbahnhof . The station has been integrated into the Munich S-Bahn network since 1972 .
In 2004 the station was made barrier-free. The platforms were raised and modernized, the station building was renovated. New park-and-ride facilities and bicycle parking spaces were built near the train station . The bus stop on the station forecourt was also modernized, and a new turning loop for the buses was created on the forecourt. In addition to Deutsche Bahn AG, the municipality of Oberhaching also contributed to the costs .
The original small station building of the Deisenhofen station was later demolished and around 1875 the station building, which is now a listed building, was rebuilt. The sale of the station building was put out to tender in 2009 by Deutsche Bahn. In 2014 the municipality of Oberhaching bought the building. Plans to set up a café and public toilets in the station building have not yet been implemented. There are rented private apartments on the first and second floors.

The station has four platform tracks on two central platforms . The S-Bahn line S3 in the direction of Ostbahnhof , on track 2 in the direction of Holzkirchen , on track 3 the Meridian trains in the direction of Solln and on track 4 the Meridian trains in the direction of Holzkirchen or Rosenheim stop . Both platforms are covered and have digital train destination displays . The platforms are connected to the Bahnhofplatz via an underpass and are barrier-free with elevators .
The station is located in the area of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association .
The reception building, which is no longer used as such, is a three-story plastered building with rich brickwork.

Deisenhofen station is served by the S-Bahn line S3 of the Munich S-Bahn every 20 minutes. Neighboring stations are the Furth stop in the direction of Mammendorf and the Sauerlach train station in the direction of Holzkirchen.
Until December 14, 2013, the S-Bahn lines S20 to Munich-Pasing and S27 to Munich Hauptbahnhof began and ended every hour in the station . Since December 15, 2013, the Meridian trains of the Bayerische Oberlandbahn from Munich, which continue to travel via Holzkirchen to Rosenheim during rush hour, have ended in Deisenhofen at other times.

Also the MVV bus lines 222 (Neuperlach Süd [U] [S] - Deisenhofen [S] [R]), 224 (Höllriegelskreuth [S] - Deisenhofen [S] [R] - Unterhaching [S]), 227 (Oberhaching local bus ; Furth [S] - Furth [S]) and 381 (Dietramszell - Deisenhofen [S] [R]) serve the station. In addition, the private "Biberger Bürger-Bus" (BBB) connects the Deisenhofen train station with the outlying villages of Oberhachings Oberbiberg , Jettenhausen , Gerblinghausen , Ödenpullach and Kreuzpullach (and Laufzorn ).
