The water tower on Heidemannstrasse is a water tower on Heidemannstrasse (corner of Lilienthalallee ) in the Freimann district of Munich . It belonged to the Munich-Freimann repair shop and is registered with it as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.

description

The tower is 40.5 meters high and has a square floor plan that tapers slightly towards the top. He wears a tent roof on which a radio antenna is attached.

history

The tower was built in 1918/19 by the Bayerische Maschinenfabrik Friedrich Krupp . After the Second World War it was clad with Eternit panels. The logo of the Krupp family is still under the cladding. At times the fire department in the tower dried their hoses. The tower is on the premises of CA Immo .
