Vasily Yaroslavich

Wassili Jaroslawitsch ( Russian Василий Ярославич Vasilij Jaroslavič ; * 1241 ; † 1276 ) was 1272–1276 Grand Duke of Vladimir from the Rurikids . He was the son of Yaroslav II and a brother of Yaroslav III. With the support of the Tatars and together with Arghaman, a governor of Vladimir, and his son-in-law, he moved against the city of Novgorod , on whose property he was claiming, and there he looted many treasures and brought back prisoners.
