Wassili Wassiljewitsch Kühner

Wassili Wassiljewitsch Kühner ( Russian Василий Васильевич Кюнер / Wassili Wassiljewitsch Kjuner ; born April 1, 1840 in Stuttgart , † August 1911 in Vilnius ) was a Russian composer.

Kühner studied at the Stuttgart Conservatory , the Paris Conservatory and the Saint Petersburg Conservatory . From 1870 to 1876 he directed a music school in Tblisi. From 1878 he lived in St. Petersburg, where he opened a music school in 1892. He composed an opera, two symphonies, chamber music works and piano pieces.
