Vasilisa Mikhailovna Bershanskaya
Wassilissa Michailowna Berschanskaja ( Russian Василиса Михайловна Бержанская , common English transcription Vasilisa Berzhanskaya ; * 1993 in Essentuki ) is a Russian opera singer with a mezzo-soprano voice .
biography
Vasilissa Berschanskaja began her studies in the singing class of the Stavropol State Conservatory and continued it at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow with Ruzanna Lisitsian. From 2015 to 2017 she took part in the Young Artist Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theater , where she performed, among other things, Despina in Così fan tutte . In 2017 she sang the role of Frau Pfeil in the children's version of as part of the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival The acting director . She has been a member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin ensemble since the 2017/18 season .
