Wataru Murofushi ( Japanese 室 伏 航 , Murofushi Wataru ; born June 13, 1995 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Wataru Murofushi learned to play football in the youth team at Minato SC , the school team at Funabashi Municipal High School and the university team at Juntendo University in Japan. He signed his first contract with Albirex Niigata (Singapore) in Singapore in 2018 . The club is an offshoot of the Japanese second division club Albirex Niigata , who played in the Singaporean first division, the Singapore Premier League . With the club, he became Singapore football champion in 2018. In the same year he won the Singapore Cup , Singapore FA Cup and the Singapore Community Shield . After a year he left the club. At the beginning of 2019 he moved to Canada . Here he signed a contract with York9 FC . The club, which is based in the York region in the province of Ontario , plays in the first Canadian league, the Canadian Premier League .
