The Wayne Head is a rocky headland on the north east coast of Horseshoe Iceland before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . Along with Gibbs Point, it is one of the limits of the entrance to Gaul Cove .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 2011 after Anthony Walter Wayne (born Kelczewski, 1915–2013) of the United States Navy , participant in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) under the direction of the American polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
