The Weckshof building , formerly also known as Niederhof and Demminger-Hof , is located in the Lendersdorf district of Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia in the street Schmalenburg 1 across from Hof Schmalenburg .

The building was built between the 17th and 19th centuries and has been changed many times since then.

The former Niederhof had been owned by the St. Adalbertstift in Aachen since the Middle Ages . Since the 17th century it has been called "Weckshof" after a tenant family. In 1890 Josef Frey bought the farm at an auction. It was only a fragment of the original courtyard. After Josef Frey's death in 1916, his daughter Maria, married to Bernhard Demming, inherited the property and the new name "Demminger-Hof" became a naturalization.

There is nothing left of the old courtyard building today. The buildings of the newer Weckshof have two interesting components, the courtyard gate, a round arched gate in Hausein and the stepped gable of the north wing. This gable is very similar to that of the Schmalenburg and is likely to come from the same building period (16th / 17th century).

The Weckshof is a large four-sided courtyard. On the street side, there is a quarry stone building with stone walls . There is a gable roof on the building . There is a walled gate entrance on the courtyard side. The baking house is a half-timbered construction from the 18th century. The main house, which has been heavily modified at the rear, has a quarry stone tail gable . All other buildings are made of bricks .

The building is registered under No. 3/007 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
