Wedderien is a district of the municipality of Göhrde in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The place is three kilometers south of Metzingen , the seat of the municipality.

history

For the year 1848 it is stated that Wedderien had three residential buildings in which 24 residents lived. At that time the place was parish after Hitzacker . On December 1, 1910, Wedderien had 13 inhabitants as an independent municipality in the Dannenberg district . On July 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality was incorporated into the municipality of Metzingen, which was renamed the municipality of Göhrde on January 29, 1976.
