The Wedendorfer See is a lake in the municipality of Wedendorfersee, named after the body of water, in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is owned by the land and leased to a fisherman.
The 24 hectare lake has maximum dimensions of 730 × 450 meters and an almost elliptical water surface. The maximum depth is 1.44 meters. At the lake or near the shore are the places Wedendorf in the north, Kirch Grambow in the east, Groß Hundorf in the south and Köchelstorf in the southwest. Several trenches, including the Kellerbäk from the east, form tributaries. To the west there is an outflow over the Tiene towards Radegast .
The lake is part of the protected landscape Kochel Mühle including Vedas Dorfer lake . The near-natural lakeshore is almost completely surrounded by a belt of reeds, which is mainly followed by a belt of deciduous forest and extensive wet or fresh grassland areas. The nutrient-loaded lake is classified as hypertrophic . The north bank is accessible in the area of the Wedendorf mansion, there is a jetty and a boat dock.
