Weerapat Doakmaiklee (born June 13, 1987 ) is a retired Thai tennis player .

Career

Doakmaiklee was active on the ITF Junior Tour from 2000 to 2005 and played around 100 matches each in singles and doubles. At the beginning of 2005 he reached his highest combined ranking in the youth world rankings with 44th place.

In the same year he became more active on the professional tour. In 2006 Doakmaiklee was able to place in the top 1000 of the tennis world rankings for the first time . In early 2007 he made his debut for the Thai Davis Cup team when he lost his match in four sets in the encounter against Taiwan . In his career, he came to a record in the Davis Cup of 2:10. Later that year he also reached his first final on a future and made his debut on the ATP Challenger Tour . After a weaker year, the Thai won his first doubles future title in 2009. After another title in 2010, he won another nine titles in the following two years, but never achieved a title success in singles. Here he achieved his best ranking in August 2010 with rank 680.

In doubles, he also made some appearances at Challengers thanks to his future titles and reached his career high in October 2012 with 319th place. He made his only appearance on the ATP World Tour in 2011 at his home tournament in Bangkok . Here he competed in doubles with Sonchat Ratiwatana thanks to a wildcard . They lost in their opening round. At the end of 2012, Doakmaiklee played tennis tournaments regularly for the last time.
