IC 2104 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Lepus north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 241 million light years from the Milky Way and about 180,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1710 , NGC 1730 , NGC 1686 .
The object was discovered by Edward Barnard .
