NGC 1710 = IC 2108 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Lepus north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 220 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 ly in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1730 and IC 2104 .
The object was discovered by Francis Leavenworth on November 14, 1885 .
