NGC 1730 = IC 2113 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Lepus north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 172 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 120,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1710 and IC 2104 .
The object was discovered by Francis Leavenworth on November 14, 1885 .
