The holy water font in the church of St-Pierre in Tresses , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in 1609. In 1908 the baroque holy water stoup was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The oval basin is adorned with an angel's head and arabesques . A coat of arms and the year 1609 are affixed to the rectangular base. The basin and plinth, both made of stone, are painted to give the appearance of marble .
