The two stoups in the Saint-Seurin basilica in Bordeaux , a French city in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , were created in the 17th or 18th century. In 1971, the baroque holy water fonts were added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 1.20 meter high marble holy water basin consists of an octagonal base with a pillar on top that widens towards the top and is decorated with garlands. The round basin is gadronized .
