The Weimer Media Group GmbH is a publishing house based in Munich . The group comprises around a dozen media brands, most of which have specialized in business journalism . The GmbH was founded in 2012 by the publicist Wolfram Weimer and his wife, the publisher Christiane Goetz-Weimer .

The group includes the debate magazine The European , the WirtschaftsKurier , the mandatory journal of the Munich Stock Exchange , the Börse am Sonntag with over 100,000 subscribers, the online mandatory journal of all German regional exchanges , and Denkzeit , an e-magazine in cooperation with the Swiss Month . The Weimer Media Group is also one of the largest online publishers in Germany with more than 250,000 subscribers to the publishing house products. In addition to e-magazines, this also includes newsletters, apps, PDF media and online portals with more than 150 domains. The publisher also owns one of the largest databases for e-mail communication in Germany (Investorservice) .

Since 2017, the Weimer Media Group has also owned a social online department store that specializes in books and donates part of its proceeds.
