Stern winery

The Stern winery from Hochstadt is located between Landau and Speyer in the southern Palatinate (Germany). It belongs to the Palatinate wine-growing region and is a member of the Barrique Forum Palatinate and Pinotimes Association.

history

In 1952 the estate was founded by Josef Stern. Subsequently, the son Wolfgang Stern ran the winery in the 2nd generation, modernized it and switched to bottle wine marketing. Today the Stern winery is managed by Dominic Stern in the third generation and is known for full-bodied red wines and excellent white wines.

  • Dominic Stern has been distilling a Palatinate gin since 2014. (Pfalz Dry Gin). It is characterized by its aromatic complexity and can be found in many bars.
