Weisachgrund

Weisachgrund was a municipality in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district , Middle Franconia , Bavaria .

history

The community Weisachgrund (named after the Weisach , a left tributary of the Aisch near Uehlfeld , or the Kleine Weisach , the left tributary of the Aisch near Lonnerstadt) was created on January 1, 1972 through the merger of the previously independent communities of Dutendorf, Frickenhöchstadt and Kleinweisach . Frimmersdorf was added on January 1, 1974.

The new community initially belonged to the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch . When it was dissolved on July 1, 1972, it moved to the enlarged district of Erlangen, which was officially renamed the Erlangen-Höchstadt district on May 1, 1973 .

On May 1, 1978, the community was dissolved and incorporated into the market Vestenbergsgreuth .
