Weisslahnbad ( Italian Lavina Bianca ) is a district of the municipality of Tiers in South Tyrol , located approx. 3 km from the center of Tiers, above St. Zyprian at an altitude of around 1200  m in the Tiers valley , directly at the Schlern-Rosengarten nature park .

The name Weisslahn comes from a quarry from which white gravel is still extracted today. In the year 1811 a bathing inn was built in the immediate vicinity for the first time, which later developed into a well-known holiday destination for spa guests and summer visitors , hence the name affix -bad .

In Weisslahnbad at the entrance of the Tschamin valley there is a nature park house with a 400-year-old water-powered Venetian saw.

Today Weisslahnbad is a popular starting point for numerous excursions and mountain tours, for example through the Tschamin Valley to the Schlern and Rosengarten groups .
