The Weitsee , often also called Schnaitseer See by locals , is a smaller swimming lake near Schnaitsee in the Traunstein district in Bavaria.
It has an area of 5.4 hectares and a depth of up to 6.9 m. The "Seebach", which begins on the north east bank, drains the lake over the Inn into the Danube .

In the north-east there is a seaside swimming pool (for a fee when the cash desk is open) with a lawn, kiosk, changing rooms, toilets, showers, children's playground, a demarcated flat swimming area for children, a volleyball court and several jetties.
