The Weld River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
It rises on the southwest slopes of Mount Mueller in the northeast part of the Southwest National Park . From there it flows southeast and flows into the Arve Plains , east of the national park, into the Huon River .
