Welle Wahnsinn was a German comedy series by and with Dieter Hallervorden . It only ran briefly in 1982 on ZDF and was canceled after two broadcasts. It was made by Bertelsmann television production.
action
Die Welle Wahnsinn is a radio station that only deals with insane songs and gags. Radio host is Don Chaos , played by Dieter Hallervorden . The program is structured like a radio program in that the music clips are mixed with gags, advertising or announcements. The music cabaret Aunt Marta occurs here u. a. as a background tape in the cistern or Aunt Martha tape . As a conclusion, there is always a report by a madman of the week.

music
All songs were sung by Dieter Hallervorden. The songs were based on the musical tastes of the time (including NDW ) or had a socially critical background. Other songs were homages to films from other eras (Lady Applebee, El Pumado).
Trivia
- In the video Didi, play the tango! The action takes place in the same villa of the later Didi film Didi and the revenge of the disinherited
- Hallervorden appears as a gorilla in both episodes. In the first at the bar and in the second El Pumado is transformed into this gorilla by a little man.

criticism
According to the television lexicon by Michael Reufsteck and Stefan Niggemeier , the Bild Zeitung questioned how one could make a mental illness the title of a program. The program was then canceled.
