Telford United
Telford United (officially: Telford United Football Club ) was an English football club from Telford , Shropshire, in the west of England . The club, founded in 1872, won the Welsh Cup competition three times and the FA Trophy three times . After 25 years in the Conference National , the fifth-highest English division, the club had to withdraw from the game in 2004 for financial reasons. The AFC Telford United was founded by club supporters as a successor club.
