The following world championships, which are planned for 2020 , are referred to as World Cup 2020 or World Cup 2020 :

• Biathlon World Championships 2020 , from February 12 to 23 in Antholz (Italy)
• Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships 2020 , from February 17th to March 1st in Altenberg (Germany)
• Ice Hockey World Championships 2020 , Switzerland, Canada, Czech Republic
• World Figure Skating Championships 2020 , March 16-22 in Montreal (Canada)
• Formula 1 World Championship 2020 , from March 15 to November 29
• Luge World Championships 2020 , from February 14th to 16th in Krasnaya Polyana (Russia)
• Ski Flying World Championship 2020 , March 19-22 in Planica (Slovenia)
• Table tennis world championship 2020 , from September 27th to October 4th in Busan (South Korea)
