World record is a Cologne-based German - Indie - Rock Band .

history

Weltrekorder was founded in 2007 by Ingo Ruttke (vocals, guitar, compositions, lyrics, production), Theo Weber (drums), Thomas Hesse (guitar), Michael Schäfers (bass) and Doris Sacala (lyrics) in Cologne. At the end of 2009 the band was accepted into the funding program of the Initiative Musik .

On 21/22 August 2010 the four musicians set the world record of playing most concerts within twelve hours. After the record was recognized, World Record was entered in the Guinness Book of Records . Her debut album Weltrekorder and the single Sex mit Hanne were released at the end of July 2010 . World records are under contract with the independent label handmade and the sound carriers are distributed by Zebralution / 8 O'Clock Records .
