Wendelin Küpers

Wendelin Küpers (born November 6, 1965 ) is a German application-oriented basic researcher of integral theory and practice of organizations and leadership.

Life

Wendelin Küpers studied economics at the University of Witten / Herdecke from 1989 to 1995 , where he received his doctorate in 1998 on the phenomenology of service quality. From 1999 to 2001 he examined the importance of demotivation in companies in a theoretical and empirical study at the University of St. Gallen . He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Hagen with Jürgen Weibler as well as a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Innsbruck . After his time as Associate Professor at the School for Management at Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand, he is currently teaching and researching as Professor of Leadership and Organization Studies at Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe and at the ICN Business School in Nancy .

In his phenomenological and interdisciplinary research, he examines the possibilities of integral organizational and leadership practices, organizational learning and change, corporeality , emotions and creativity , aesthetics in organizational lifeworlds and the development of a “pheno practice”. On the basis of Merleau-Ponty , he tries to make a contribution to an understanding of embodied integral organizational and leadership practice.
