Wenemar Overdyk
Wenemar Overdyk (* in Essen ; † June 5, 1460 in Lübeck ) was a German merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
As a merchant in trade with Flanders , Wenemar Overdyk was an elderly man in 1443 at the head of the Hansekontor in Bruges . In 1452 he was elected to the council in Lübeck. Overdyk initially lived in the house at Fischstrasse 9 in Lübeck , and from 1455 at Mengstrasse 10 next to the Wehde . He was married to Kunigunde, an already widowed daughter of the Lübeck councilor Hinrich Honerjeger . Both Overdyk spouses were buried with the Dominicans in the castle monastery , where the common coat of arms grave plate is documented, but no longer verifiable.
