Who has worries ... is an advertising film for spirits from the Bramsch company ( Dresden ), produced by DEFA -Produktion Sachsen in 1948 .

action

An elderly gentleman discovers a notice in a beverage store stating that drinking spirits have been allocated again and he thinks it's wonderful. A woman standing behind him doesn't think that's okay, because she'd rather have the potatoes that were made into schnapps here. But the voice from the off replies that both are possible, potatoes and spirits and the film justifies this with recordings from the production process.

At the Bramsch company in Dresden, alcohol and compressed yeast are made exclusively from molasses , a residual product of sugar production. The molasses is fermented into alcohol and yeast in large vats . Using separators and filter presses , yeast is obtained from it, which is sold as a leavening agent for bakeries and as a high-quality protein food. In the distillery, the alcohol is obtained as technical raw spirit, which has to be specially cleaned for drinking purposes. In this way, coveted foodstuffs and luxury goods are produced without grain and potatoes, which are reserved for popular nutrition.

So it remains as before: If you have worries, you also have Bramsch liqueur. Dresden pressed yeast and grain spirit factory JL Bramsch
