Sjatikowa made his debut in the World Cup in Kavgolovo in January 1998 and finished in 34th place over 10 km freestyle. At the Winter Universiade 2001 in Zakopane she won the silver medal in 5 km freestyle and the gold medal in 15 km freestyle. She got her first World Cup points with her second World Cup appearance in March 2001 in Kavgolovo with the 14th place over 15 km freestyle. This was also her best individual result in the World Cup. After she moved from the Russian Federation to the Belarusian Federation after the 2000/01 season, she came in the 2001/02 season in eight World Cup singles, four times in the points and thus reached 64th place in the overall World Cup. Her best results at the season highlight of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City were 17th place in the 15 km mass start race and fifth place in the relay. In the following season, she achieved three places in the World Cup in the points and thus reached 58th place in the overall World Cup. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 in Val di Fiemme were 12th in the 15 km mass start race and fifth in the relay. In the 2003/04 season she achieved three results in the World Cup in points and 58th place in the overall World Cup. From the 2005/06 season she started again for the Russian Federation. She took part in national competitions in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons and from the 2007/08 season until her last active season 2012/13, she mainly participated in the Eastern Europe Cup . She won two third places and was eighth in the 2007/08 season .
