Sjatikowa made his debut in the World Cup in Kavgolovo in February 1996 and finished 51st over 10 km classic. She got her first World Cup points with her second World Cup appearance in January 1998 in Kavgolovo with the 20th place over 10 km freestyle. At the 2001 Winter Universiade in Zakopane , she won the silver medal in the 15 km freestyle. In March 2001 she reached her first top ten placement in the World Cup with tenth place over 15 km freestyle in Kavgolovo. After she moved from the Russian Federation to the Belarusian Federation after the 2000/01 season, she came in the 2001/02 season in eight appearances in the World Cup singles, twice in the points. Her best results at the season highlight of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City were 17th place in the 15 km mass start race and fifth place in the relay. In the following season she reached two places in the points in the World Cup. She achieved her best individual result in the World Cup with ninth place over 5 km freestyle in Kavgolovo and at the end of the season she achieved her best overall World Cup result with 60th place in the overall World Cup. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 in Val di Fiemme were tenth place over 30 km freestyle and fifth place with the relay. In the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons she made it into the points four times in the World Cup and finished 85th and 81st in the overall World Cup. From the 2005/06 season she started again for the Russian Federation. She took part in national competitions in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons and from the 2007/08 season until her last active season 2012/13, she mainly participated in the Eastern Europe Cup . She got two wins and three third places. Her best overall placings were fourth in the 2007/08 season and seventh in the 2008/09 season .
