Hansjürgen Rösner

Hansjürgen Rösner (born December 6, 1914 in Schwerin ; † October 25, 1964 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR as well as a member of the presidium of the main board and chairman of the CDU district associations Schwerin and East Berlin .

Life

Rösner, son of an upholsterer , attended elementary school and grammar school. He passed the Abitur and studied from 1933 to 1935 theology . After dropping out of his studies, he worked from 1936 to 1945 as a laborer or technical employee at the Arado aircraft factory in Warnemünde .

After the Second World War he initially worked as a farm worker, then until 1948 as a consultant for economic statistics at the Mecklenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as an employee in the economic planning office of the Mecklenburg state government. He became a member of the CDU in 1945. In 1948 he was appointed to the first full-time party function as secretary of the CDU district association Schwerin. From 1950 to 1952 he acted as secretary of the CDU state executive committee for Mecklenburg.

With the formation of the districts in the GDR in 1952, he became chairman of the CDU district association Schwerin. He held this position until November 21, 1958. From 1953 to 1958 he was a member of the Schwerin District Assembly . From 1952 he was a member of the main board of the CDU and was from October 1958 (9th party congress) to June 1960 (10th party congress) a member of the presidium of the main board. From November 1958 to 1960 he was a member of the National Council of the National Front and the office of the Presidium of the National Council.

From July 1958 he was a member of the CDU parliamentary group of the People's Chamber , most recently from November 1963 as a Berlin representative . From 1958 to 1963 he was a member of the Justice Committee and from 1963 of the Youth Committee of the People's Chamber.

From June 1960 to 1961 he was secretary for cadre, church and cultural policy of the main board of the CDU (successor to Otto Kalb ) and from June 1960 (10th party congress of the CDU) to October 1964 (11th party congress) secretary of the central committee of inquiry CDU, then assessor. From November 27, 1961 until his death in 1964, he was chairman of the Berlin district committee of the CDU. From October 1963 he was also a member of the Berlin city council .

Rösner died at the age of 49 and was buried in the Friedrichsfelde central cemetery.
