Ursula Raurin-Kutzner (nee Kutzner ; born May 21, 1927 in Habelschwerdt , Lower Silesia Province (Polish since 1946: Bystrzyca Kłodzka )) is a former functionary of the GDR CDU and a member of the GDR People's Chamber .

Life

After finishing elementary and middle school in Gera, the daughter of a teacher attended a women's health school. This training was interrupted by the Second World War. On April 20, 1944, she joined the NSDAP .

After 1945 Ursula Kutzner worked for a short time in agriculture. In August 1945 she joined the Christian Democratic Union of Germany and worked as a clerk in the CDU district secretariat in Wittenberg . Shortly thereafter, she became district youth officer and from 1950 to 1955 district secretary of the CDU in Wittenberg. From 1955 to 1956 she was the organization leader and deputy district chairman of the Gera district association of the CDU. Since April 1956 she worked in the health service department of the Gera District Council. During this time, she took evening studies as a nurse, which she completed in 1958 with the state examination for major nursing.

From 1955 to 1959, Raurin-Kutzner was a member of the Presidium of the Gera District Peace Council . From 1959 she worked as a member of the federal board of the Free German Trade Union Federation .

From 1978 to 1981 she acted as chairwoman of the CDU district committee in Berlin. Subsequently, she worked as director for social issues at VOB Union Berlin . She was a member of the presidium of the main board of the CDU. She was first elected as a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR in the People's Chamber election in 1963 , and she worked until 1990.

Since 1983 she was a member of the central board of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship .
