education

Marketing communications clerks are prepared for a consulting-intensive activity in a three-year dual training course in accordance with the Vocational Training Act (BBiG). They develop advertising strategies for various media and implement them commercially by e.g. B. Plan, execute and control orders and monitor payment transactions. Employment opportunities can be found in the advertising industry, e.g. B. in advertising departments of larger companies, at advertising agencies, trade fair and exhibition companies or advertising associations. The mono job is trained in companies in the advertising industry or in the advertising / marketing departments of companies, associations and other institutions without specializing according to subject or focus.

Some specialist academies also offer a dual international training approach, which is characterized by a high proportion of practical work in foreign training companies. Experiences from this are documented with the help of the European Education Pass and thus made comparable in the European context.

The requirements for training to become a marketing communications clerk depend heavily on the training company. In most companies, however, Abitur , technical college entrance qualification (FOR) or advanced technical college entrance qualification (FHR) is required. First internships in a commercial environment are usually an advantage.

The training creates a solid knowledge base and generally provides a good basis for working in the various areas of the communications industry.
