Werner Burger
Werner Burger (born October 22, 1929 in Nuremberg ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Social Court .
Life
Werner Burger studied law at the University of Erlangen and graduated in 1953 with the first state examination. In 1957 he passed the second state examination in law. As early as 1958 he was a judge for life and worked as such at the Nuremberg Social Court . He was sent to the Bavarian State Ministry and the Bavarian State Social Court from the social court in his hometown . From 1965 to 1969 he was a senior social judge at the Nuremberg Social Court before being appointed judge at the Federal Social Court in October 1969. There he was a member of the 12th Senate for five years, then a member of the 1st Senate for three years. From 1978 onwards, Burger was chairman of the 5th Senate, which was responsible for miners 'insurance , accident and workers' pension insurance during his term in office , and he headed it until his retirement in October 1994.
